Fresh off an invigorating Higher Education Advocacy Day, the Coalition for Transforming Higher Education Funding asks you to use this toolkit to continue making noise about the need for increased Monetary Award Program (MAP) dollars and the need for a new, more student-centered path forward when it comes to how the state supports its public universities (SB 13 / HB 1581).

The Coalition developed this toolkit to help guide you through your advocacy and ensure you have the resources necessary to reach your lawmakers effectively. You can:

  • Send a letter to your lawmakers: Directly reach out to your state senator and representative to let them know why they must prioritize these investments.
  • Share on social media: Reference the bank of tweets and tag your legislators.
  • Share the message widely: Share this toolkit and its messages with members of your community.
