The Coalition for Transforming Higher Education Funding will host conversations on college campuses across the state about SB 3965, a new, historic piece of legislation that will enable universities to be the engines of opportunity that students and communities need. Proposed by Senate Majority Leader Kimberly Lightford and State Representative Carol Ammons, SB 3965 is Illinois’ best chance at creating a higher education system that truly serves the needs of all students and public institutions across the state.
